DAY IN DAY OUT [1000 EYES]

Paper on panel, saline solution, graphite powder

24"x24"

2023-2025

At the end of each day, I removed my contact lenses, dipped them in ink and pressed them to a panel. This ink was made with a mix of the saline solution they were preserved in and graphite powder. These cumulative marks are the imprint of my vision, fleeting impressions made tangible. They are the residual documentation of all the heat and light that has reached and passed through my retina all those days, weeks and months. Together they are the intertemporal amassment of 500 days and 1000 eyes.
